Cat Box Enclosure

A birch shell that hides the litter box and lifts straight off it. No hinges, no drawer, no bottom — grab the two handles on top, set the shell aside, and the pan is right there.

Lifts off to clean

The whole shell is the lid. Hands go straight down on the two pulls, ten inches apart, and it comes up level — no tipping, no reaching across.

Paw-safe slats

Nine white oak slats per side with quarter-inch gaps. That’s plenty of airflow, and narrower than a cat’s toe, so nothing gets caught.

Built to be sat on

A 3/4″ top with a shadow-line overhang and mitered corners, so the grain wraps the box. Most cats claim the top within a day.

Good to know: the enclosure is open at the bottom, so set it on a mat or boot tray to catch stray litter. Fits a pan up to roughly 13″ × 21″. Pan not included.
